Five Of The Best Superyachts Built In New Zealand

New Zealand is an Island country located in the South Western Pacific Ocean. It has over 600 Islands with a population of 4 million people. The surrounding sea is used for recreational and commercial purposes.

By reason of its location, most of the inhabitants have a passion for the marine industries and boat making. Neville Crichton established the first Superyacht in New Zealand in the mid-1980s.

New Zealand, although being a small isolated country, is renowned globally in making award-winning Superyachts.

Superyachts are Luxury yachts with a professional crew. The minimum length of a superyacht is 24 meters. In addition, it should have at least the following accommodation:

•    Sun Deck: the topmost deck with a Jacuzzi & a Gym.

•    Upper Deck: where the owner’s suite, Captain’s cabin, bridge, sky lounge, and dining is located.

•    Main Deck: has entrance amidships, study, stateroom for bodyguards or personal assistant.

•    Lower Deck: Engine room, crew quarters, guest cabins, and external swim platform.

Depending on the size of the superyacht, other luxury yacht tenders maybe added, example; Helipad, Medical center, Club, Satellite communications, Cinema, Steam rooms, personal watercraft, and Sauna.

With all these features, it’s worthy to note that Superyachts are aesthetic, charming and built for luxury. Everyone will love to own one. If you’re interested in having someone build out your own superyacht (or maybe just a standard catamaran) check out Marine Services boat sales category.
